Let's get chatty!

Now the offseason is here (for the Celtics, at least) there will be countless trade rumors, reports, and discussion points. We will have free agency and the draft. We will have contract discussions. And, of course, we will have the dead period.

There is always so much to talk about — even if there isn’t much for me to write about. That’s why this summer, I’m hyperfocusing on building up the Celtics Chronicle chat.

The aim is to run regular mailbags, have live discussions, and foster a solid community of Celtics fans. And while I know no one wants an extra app on their phone, the built-in newsletter reader is a super nice touch, especially if you subscribe to multiple writers.

So with that said, you may be wondering how it works. To join me:

• Download or update the free Substack app.

• Tap on the Chat icon—it’s the second from the left and looks like a couple of chat bubbles (see below). That’s where I’ll share photos, pose questions, host Q&As, and everything else that doesn’t fit neatly into the Sunday newsletter.

• Boom, you’re done! You can either create your own thread/discussion point, or join in on one that’s already there! Hopefully, I will see a bunch of new names/faces in the coming days!
