Knicks in the rear view, but still there but not a big concern, have to prep for the Cav's and OKC, finalize playoff by Mar 1. Nobody in Maine fits well so go get Mo Bamba? Theis? Javale McGee? Luka Samanic?

Its fun to watch knicks fans crash out. There's actually thoughts among the fanbase about resting guys and dropping to 4th seed since they think they have a stronger shot beating the 1st seed cavs (for the record, i agree haha).

Boston built the lead this game and rebuilt it when they played with pace. They lost it when they didnt (slow walk the ball up off stops and scores). Gotta lean into playing with pace more in the coming game vs. The raps.

The Knicks identity last was one of toughness and grit. Failing to sign Hartenstein was the biggest mistake. The Celtics once again won this battle of the wings. It even forced the Knicks into poor GM management.

They had no choice on i-hart. He was chasing the bag, same with OG. they only couldve kept one. They chose OG.

Hindsight may prove that that was the wrong pick.

OG at close to 40mm was a huge mistake. He’s a good role player not a star. And bridges for all those picks was a massive overpay (see Luka Doncic). And why? To keep up with the Celtics. this is like a sumo match throwing salt around and psyching out your opponent even before the match starts.

I think the intention behind the moves was correct (get 3ND wings). Much like the luka doncic deal, i just dont agree with the execution (overpaid OG, hes not better than d.white, gave up so many picks for mikal).

They probably couldve signed and traded OG away, got a cheaper wing (like a torrey craig haha) and then kept i-hart.
