I for one would like more on the Horns actions, also the Mavs main offensive plays so I have a better understanding of how they think about using Luka and Kyrie
I will try and get some stuff on the Mavs done early next week. I've got to pull and watch a decent amount of film before i'm super confident talking about their actions. Hopefully I can get it done in time.
Mavs offense had some great looks that just didn't go in. Their PnR was deadly. Will be interesting how Kidd handles lineups with just one of Luka or Kyrie.
Mavs defense had a tough time guarding the Jays. KP was a cheat code, though Mavs (ex. Lively) did decent bothering entry passes to him.
Celtics offense involved Luka constantly in actions probably to tire him out
Celtics defense focused on Luka and letting their role players shoot
Nervous, even though I had picked a Mavs-Celtics Finals (and us in 6) haha. We pose a tough combo of 5-out offense (esp. strong wings), versatile defense (esp. strong guards), and playoff experience.
Job's not done til it's done though. Dallas is much better than back in March. Even with all the insane offensive highlights they've had since then (Kyrie lefty over Jokic while fasting WTF), it's their defense that's impressed me the most.
I'll live with getting killed in PnR if we can win the 3 pt and turnover battles. Time to finally see what curveballs Joe has been cooking up all season.
